It seems everyone is launching new smartphones recently and HTC is no exception.  We've previously touched on the HTC Desire X and HTC has now announced the release of two Windows Phone 8 devices, the HTC 8X and HTC 8S.  Look for these phones to drop on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon.

As we've come to expect with almost any new smartphone, this phone comes with a dual-core 1.5 Ghz processor.  It's not quite as thin as some of the other recent phones like the 7.6mm iPhone 5, the 8.6mm Samsung Galaxy S III or the 8.9mm HTC One X at a "chunky" 10.6mm.  Calling that device chunky is hard to say with a straight face, but compared to those other new devices....it is.

If you score one of the new HTC Windows Phone 8X or 8S and need to unlock it your best best (and usually free) is to call AT&T or T-Mobile and tell them you'll be travelling (overseas) and request an IMEI unlock code for your phone.  It may take 90 days or so after the phones launch before they start giving away free unlock codes.  Never fear though, if you can't get one from AT&T or T-Mobile you can purchase the same IMEI unlock code online.....and even get it for free!  Check the links below for a few different options to unlock the HTC 8X:

Unlock HTC Desire X

HTC has just announced the Desire X (aka Desire Proto) and has officially blurred the lines between it's mid and low end smartphones.  It looks a lot like the One series but as the name implies it runs a lot like the Desire.  The specs, release date, etc are all rumors and leaks at best but they're saying Q4 of this year.

AT&T got the HTC One X and T-Mobile has the HTC One S and they are both pretty nice phones and are HTC's thinnest phones (so far).  Each sport a 4.3 inch hd screen and both boast and 8MP camera that sports 1080HD video.  HTC has again delivered a couple very nice handsets.

HTC Titan II Unlock Code

The AT&T HTC Titan II is huge.  4.7 inches of WVGA Windows Phone love.  It's sporting another rather large feature, a 16MP camera.  Yes, 16MP rear-facing camera.  HUGE.  Backing all of that up is a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor.  This thing is expected to make a thud on AT&T's LTE network on April 8th.

The HTC Sensation comes packing quite a bit of power, screen, processor.  It's definitely a powerhouse.  1.2GHz dual core processor, 4G, Android 2.3, a massive 4.3" screen and, of course, HTC Sense.  Definitely not your entry level Android device.
