When you pick up your new HTC M8 or HTC Two or HTC One 2, or whatever the device winds up being called, you can get an IMEI unlock code for it via a few possible sources or ways.  First, and isn't actually a code, is to just buy the device factory unlocked.  Probably the simplest, but most expensive, way to go about unlocking any phone.  The next option would be to get a free unlock code from the provider that locked the device to their network.  Call them and ask for it.  Finally - if you cannot get a code or unlocked device with either of the first two methods you can buy the same IMEI unlock code for the HTC M8 at either of the sources below:

The HTC first was the first phone to come integrated with Facebook Home.  The exclusivity lasted a mere minutes before it was announced that Home would soon be available via the Google Play store.  Once you get past Home, you're left with a mediocre mid-level (at best) android device.  HTC first does not come with support for LTE, there's no Beats audio.....although it does come with a 4.3 inch screen at 341 ppi which does make it as nice (better, actually) than the Retina display.  All in all, not a very impressive phone and unless you absolutely had to be the first to get Facebook Home....there wasn't a lot of reason to go out and buy this phone.  Recent price-drop activities indicate that sales of this device are sluggish to say the least.

It seems everyone is launching new smartphones recently and HTC is no exception.  We've previously touched on the HTC Desire X and HTC has now announced the release of two Windows Phone 8 devices, the HTC 8X and HTC 8S.  Look for these phones to drop on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon.

As we've come to expect with almost any new smartphone, this phone comes with a dual-core 1.5 Ghz processor.  It's not quite as thin as some of the other recent phones like the 7.6mm iPhone 5, the 8.6mm Samsung Galaxy S III or the 8.9mm HTC One X at a "chunky" 10.6mm.  Calling that device chunky is hard to say with a straight face, but compared to those other new devices....it is.
